Heritage Madrid – Relais & Chateux

Located near the center of downtown Madrid, Heritage Madrid Hotel is one of the two only Relais Chateux properties near the city. Besides centric location, the boutique hotel features excellent personalized service and spacious family suites. Upon entering the guest is greeted by the friendly team of Heritage Madrid who will ensure your every request is executed. Each room features spacious rooms with well lit bathrooms, luxury amenities and twice a day turndown service. 

This exclusive hidden gem, also has an excellent restaurant by Chef Mario Sandoval where you can enjoy breakfast and lunch daily. Breakfast service was delicious, varied and tasty, the guest can make a selection from the ala carte menu or the buffet. The tea selection was very extensive and complete. Considering the fast paced ambiance of Madrid this hotel provides an oasis of relaxation and excellent service. The decor is very pleasant, incorporating vintage elements with a minimalistic touch. Each room has its individual central A/C unit which ensures pleasant temperatures during Madrid’s notorious summer temperatures.

The service was attentive and went out of their way to ensure our comfort throughout the stay. One minor worry would be the lack of staff at the outdoor terraces and rooftop areas. Unfortunately, small details like these can affect the customer’s overall experience. Therefore that particular detail should be improved.

Takeaway: Heritage Madrid is an excellent choice for solo travelers, families or large groups. Although my stay was very pleasant overall this particular property does not feature a pool or gym. Heritage Madrid Hotel is perfect for a short stay.
